Getting Started

How do I connect my CRM?

From the dashboard, click the Connect button on the CRM you want to use. You'll be redirected to your CRM's authorization page where you grant read access.

We support: HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, and Close.

Your OAuth tokens are encrypted (AES-128) and you can disconnect at any time with one click.

How do I export my CRM data?
  1. Connect your CRM
  2. Select which data types to export (Contacts, Companies, Deals, Emails, etc.)
  3. Click Start Export
  4. Watch the progress in real-time
  5. Click Download ZIP when complete

Your ZIP contains both JSONL and CSV files for each data type. Export files are available for 7 days.

What data can I export?

We export up to 14 data types depending on your plan:

  • Free: Contacts, Companies, Deals (up to 1,000 records)
  • Paid plans: All 14 types including Tickets, Emails, Calls, Meetings, Notes, Tasks, Form Submissions, Lists, Workflows, Files, and Conversations

For each record, we export ALL properties — including hidden and system fields that your CRM's UI export misses. HubSpot contacts, for example, have 375+ properties.

Smart Filters (AI)

How do Smart Filters work?

After an export completes, type a question in plain English like:

  • "Contacts we haven't emailed in 6 months"
  • "Companies with no deals"
  • "Show me the 5 newest contacts"

AI analyzes your question and your data's field structure, then generates filter conditions and applies them locally against your exported data. No additional CRM API calls are made.

You can refine results with follow-up queries and save filters for later reuse.

What data does AI see?

AI only receives field names and sample value formats — never your actual contact names, emails, or deal values. All filtering is performed locally on our server. See our Security page for details.

CRM Cleanup

How do I archive stale contacts?
  1. Run an export
  2. Check your CRM Health Report for stale contact count
  3. Use Smart Filters to find them (e.g. "contacts with no activity in 12 months")
  4. Click Archive These in CRM
  5. Review the count and confirm

Archived contacts are soft-deleted in HubSpot — they're removed from active views but can be restored from the HubSpot recycle bin within 90 days.

Note: This requires the Backup plan and write permissions. You may need to reconnect your CRM to grant write access.

How do I merge duplicate contacts?

After an export, the Duplicate Contacts section automatically scans for contacts sharing the same email address. For each duplicate group:

  1. Review the contacts side by side
  2. Click Keep This One on the contact you want to keep
  3. The other duplicate(s) will be merged into your chosen contact

Merging is irreversible — the merged contact's data flows into the primary contact.

Cross-CRM Sync

How does syncing between CRMs work?
  1. Connect both source and destination CRMs
  2. Go to the Sync Between CRMs tab
  3. Select source and destination
  4. Choose entity types to sync
  5. Configure field mapping (AI auto-generates this)
  6. Pick a conflict strategy (skip duplicates, update existing, or always create new)
  7. Click Start Sync

After sync completes, a Verification Report confirms all records were transferred correctly.

What is field mapping?

Different CRMs use different field names (e.g. HubSpot's "firstname" vs Salesforce's "FirstName"). Field mapping tells the sync engine which source fields correspond to which destination fields.

We auto-generate mappings using three methods:

  • Canonical matching: Standard field synonyms (automatic)
  • Fuzzy matching: Similar names detected automatically
  • AI matching: Click "AI Assist" for intelligent suggestions

What plans are available?
  • Free: $0 — up to 1,000 records, 3 entity types
  • Full Export: $99 one-time — unlimited records, all 14 data types
  • Backup: $29/mo — everything in Full Export + Smart Filters, scheduled exports, CRM cleanup actions
  • Pro Sync: $99/mo — everything in Backup + cross-CRM sync, AI field mapping, data enrichment
How do I manage my subscription?

Click your plan badge in the top navigation bar to open the Stripe Customer Portal. From there you can update payment methods, change plans, or cancel.

Security & Privacy

Is my data secure?

Yes. See our full Security page for details. Key points:

  • OAuth tokens encrypted at rest (AES-128)
  • All connections over HTTPS/TLS
  • Passwords hashed with bcrypt
  • Export files auto-deleted after 7 days
  • Read-only CRM access by default
  • No data selling or third-party sharing
How do I delete my account?

Contact us at support@lucilead.com to request account deletion. We will delete your account, all OAuth tokens, export data, and personal information within 48 hours.
